Magnetic marking for boulder handles

Our customer has created a creative and practical gadget here; Magnetic marker for bouldering handles.

Magnetic marking for boulder handles:

• 1 x Disc magnet Ø 8.0 x 2.0 mm N45 nickel - holds 1 kg
• 1 x red ribbon (approx. 10 cm long)
• 1 x heat shrink tubing with a 12 mm diameter, each with a length of 10-15 mm

Procedure for creating the magnetic marker for Bouldering handles:

1. First, heat the ends of the red ribbons with a lighter (this prevents the ribbons from fraying).
2. Then, glue the magnet to the ribbon with a hot glue gun.
3. Finally, wrap the ribbon around the magnet, place it in the heat-shrink tubing, and heat it.

The magnetic markers are now finished and could certainly be useful for one purpose or another outside of bouldering.

Normally, the different boulders are always climbed according to the color of the handles. But as a creative game for in-between times or for training, our customer sometimes plays "suitcase packing" with his team. You define your own boulder by marking it with the magnets on the grip screws.

Instructions for the game "Packing a Suitcase":

The first person starts at a freely chosen starting hold and then selects another hold. The next person must use these holds in the same order and also select and mark another hold. This continues until one person fails to reach the defined route.
