Magnetic stove protection

Stove knob guards are designed to prevent children from playing with them and accidentally turning them on. Since this can quickly lead to a very dangerous situation, our customer decided to protect herself and built a magnetic stove guard. However, this guard wasn't designed to prevent children from turning the knobs, but rather to prevent your cats from turning on the stove with their little paws while climbing onto the kitchen counter. Unfortunately, this has happened several times, and the customer had to take action.

Reliable and effective magnetic stove guards for your home

Required materials and tools:

• 1 piece of Plexiglas, size 50 cm x 10 cm, thickness 3 mm
• 5 NdFeB Deep pot magnet Ø 13 x 20 mm internal thread M4x7, steel, zinc, 6 kg
• 5 nuts and 5 washers each
• Drill bit
• Wrench

Installation instructions:

• Drill a hole in each corner of the plexiglass. To stabilize the plexiglass, drill another hole in the center of the top area.
• Adhere the magnets to the stainless steel front of your stove.
• Hold the plexiglass to the magnets and secure the guard by placing the washers and nuts on the deep pot magnets.
• Repeat this process for all five holes and screw them tight.

This magnetic guard for stove knobs can be easily and quickly removed at any time, if necessary.
