The customer purchased an under-cabinet light from a hardware store that came with its own plastic brackets. These brackets were widened using a 4mm drill bit. A threaded deep pot magnet was screwed into the plastic brackets. The magnet's threaded pin was completely removed. Using a suitable Allen key, the thread in the magnet was held in place and simultaneously screwed to the plastic bracket. This allows the under-cabinet light to be easily installed underneath a shelf. Using the magnets, this construction holds securely and can be moved and positioned freely as desired.

As a bonus, the customer also installed a light sensor, which he attached to the metal shelf using the disc magnets mentioned above. His movable under-cabinet light is a very practical and helpful idea!
