I work in a metal processing plant and regularly have metal dust and shavings at my workstation, inevitably ending up in my pockets.
After a short time, the magnetic metal particles clog the speaker openings of my mobile phone.
As a simple remedy against the magnetic effect of the speakers, I came up with the idea of ​​a stronger magnetic field than the speakers themselves possess. Simply run a small block magnet 5.0 x 5.0 x 3.0 mm N52 nickel - holds 1.5 kg over the openings and the magnet will collect most of it. To loosen stuck metal dust, I attach a couple of small magnets to a needle to magnetize it, and then I can carefully loosen and collect the dust with the tip.
