Many years ago, spotlights were installed in the ceiling, leaving large holes. Unfortunately, the customer could not find LED spotlights with this diameter on the market to cover the existing holes. A solution had to be found. The LED spotlights had to be installed inside them. The customer had adapter rings made from stainless steel. With ring magnet Ø 14.0 x 4.5 x 4.5 mm N35 nickel with countersunk they hold securely.
Important note:
The magnetic properties of stainless steel depend on the structure and processing. These are magnetic or non-magnetic depending on their composition.
Installing the LED spotlights using adapter rings
The adapter rings perfectly cover the old holes. The LED spotlights are now securely fixed and match the stainless steel aesthetic.
Thanks to the magnets and the matching adapter rings, the professional installation was completed in a snap. They now provide a visual eye-catcher and, at the same time, the perfect light.
