The headset always at hand
For a passionate gamer, a motherboard, RAM, hard drive, processor, graphics card, power supply, and case are essential PC equipment; a headset should also always be within easy reach.
When playing computer games over a network (and now also over the Internet with programs such as TeamSpeak), players in a group can use a headset to discuss their strategy. That's why a headset is an important tool that should never be missing.
Headset always at hand
Materials required to implement the idea:
- 2 x ring magnet Ø 20.0 x 10.0 x 6.0 mm N44 nickel - holds 7.9 kg
- Curtain rail with movable hooks (in this case from IKEA)
- Cord
- Velcro cable ties

Flexible Headset Mount - DIY
- Mount the curtain rail to the ceiling
- Attach the ring magnet to a cord
The length should be adjustable using a non-self-closing loop - Attach the Velcro cable tie including the ring magnet to the headset

I was able to hang my headset above my desk. Now I can grab it directly from above whenever I need it. To prevent the magnets from colliding with each other when hanging it up, the magnet should be completely enclosed in the Velcro strip. Additionally, the headset cable was routed around the rail. My movement is no longer restricted.
