Magnetic board for cutting dies
Magnetic board for cutting dies - The practical storage option for hobbyists
Magnetic board for cutting dies
I created a 1.40 m x 1.00 m board with a frame for my cutting dies using the magnetic foil black coating, width 1000 x 0.85 mm, running meters. The cutting dies are made of metal and adhere magnetically.
I can store them very clearly and conveniently on the board. I can see at a glance which die cut I want to use for my next project (my photo albums, greeting cards, etc.).
They adhere really well to the magnetic foil.
I assembled the frame from cut acacia wood panels from the hardware store using brackets.
I attached the foil to a thin MDF board with double-sided carpet tape. The board was attached to the frame with short nails. (from behind)
I chose acacia wood for the frame to match the dresser.

For cutting, so-called motif punches (hand punches) or machines are primarily available. A mechanism presses the stencil motif onto the material and cut or embosses it. Die-cutting machines cut or punch thick materials such as photo cardboard, cardboard, foam rubber, paper, and leather. Magnetic foil or metal foil can be used.
The board is practical and a real eye-catcher!
