Bottle cap collector

Our customer accepted an invitation to a barbecue with a unique gift: bottle cap collectors.
Bottle cap collectors, also known as beer trees, are becoming increasingly popular.
We've shared a variety of our own designs with you here in our blog in the past, and we're doing the same today.

Bottle Cap Collectors

Since you don't go to a barbecue empty-handed, I thought about something appropriate. When many bottles are emptied, bottle caps end up lying around everywhere. That's when I came up with the idea of building a collector for these bottle caps, one that would be suitable for a beer garden and would also have an entertaining effect.

I needed the following:

• a tree disc
• a crooked piece of branch
• 3 - 4 spherical magnets of various diameters: so far, I have magnetic sphere / Sphere magnet Ø 12.7 mm nickel N40 - holds 2.8 kg up to magnetic sphere / Sphere magnet Ø 30.0 mm nickel N40 - holds 12.9 kg inserted
• As an added bonus, a bottle opener

• After processing the wood, I then connected the tree disc to the branch with a wood screw.
• The branch sockets were drilled to fit the magnet size (1/2 the diameter of the magnet deep).
• A wood screw was fully screwed into this hole to hold the magnet.
• The wood surface was finished as desired. Stained, waxed, or even varnished.

Order on request

The first orders were received the same day. Text requests were also expressed. For example, from ACDC fans.

Or even unusually grown trees. Bottle openers were also purchased upon request, where possible.

The fun factor was high, because everyone wanted to develop their own throwing technique. As a result, more was drunk.

The larger the tree trunk (branch), the larger the magnets had to be. The construction itself is quite simple, and fun is guaranteed. I highly recommend it.

The bottle caps shown are, of course, just for testing purposes. Depending on the size (magnetic force), a beautiful treetop can develop.

I hope you like this idea and share it with other crafters and beer garden enthusiasts on your blog.
