Magnetic fastening of a blind on a balcony
A perfect solution: Magnetic fastening of a blind to the balcony
Magnetic fastening of a blind on a balcony
I spent a long time thinking about how to create privacy from my neighbor, or vice versa. I initially considered a fan-shaped blind, but my lease states that drilling is prohibited on the exterior to avoid damaging the insulation.
Then I had the solution.
I work in a large fashion house, and our decorating team has been using magnets from your "magnet-shop.net" in various sizes for many years. Luckily, I got your website address.
I bought a bamboo blind, cut it to the correct dimensions, and plan to attach it to my balcony using the magnets. For safety reasons and to allow the blind to be raised and lowered, please use a magnet with a strength of at least 22 kg. Please note the size and length of the blind!!!
Used: Eyelet magnet Ø 36 mm NEODYMIUM - zinc - holds 41 kg
I attached the magnets to the blind's mounting brackets with a key ring. The entire installation and hanging process took me less than half an hour. The longest part was cutting the blind to the correct width.
I hope you have fun designing and enjoy your newly created oasis of well-being.
