Attached are some pictures of my magnetic stylus holder for my VAIO Convertible Laptop (Sony Vaio MultiFlip 15A).
Unfortunately, the laptop doesn't offer any standard way to store the digitizer (stylus) on or inside the laptop casing. Therefore, I attached two strong magnets inside the laptop with double-sided tape in a small recess in the casing.
Thanks to the stylus's battery, I can now easily attach the stylus to the outside of my laptop casing without the holder being visible. It turned out that the magnets fit perfectly in the gap between the laptop casing and the speaker in terms of height and width; I only had to shorten one of the two magnets with a firm tap of a hammer and a screwdriver.
The two magnets are now inside the laptop casing, attached to the speaker casing on the back with double-sided tape.
The pen holds securely to the casing from the outside with a pleasant amount of tension, so it's neither difficult to remove nor does it fall off easily.
Despite the laptop's slim design, the pen fits perfectly under the protrusion and, when attached, only covers the SD card slot and the headphone jack.
