Dear Sir or Madam,
Attached you will find three photos that illustrate my application in more detail.

Background: i collect bottle caps (mainly from beer, but it doesn't matter if the caps are from soft drinks, etc.). I had been searching for a suitable way to display them for a long time.

The requirements were: i didn't want to attach anything directly to a wall in my apartment. The bottle caps also needed to adhere reversibly so that, if the collection grew, I could easily reposition caps from the same region in close proximity. Therefore, adhesive was not an option.

By chance, I discovered in the magnet shop that there is a magnetic paint Magpaint - magnetic wall paint 500 ml can which, when applied to a wall or similar surface, serves as a base for magnets. Standard artist canvases were coated three to four times with the magnetic paint to create the base.
After light sanding with fine sandpaper, it was ready.

Bottle caps are made of metallic material, so magnets stick to them. The magnets were then attached to the inside surfaces of the bottle caps; ring magnet Ø 11.0 x 2.7 x 4.5 mm Y35 ferrite - holds 350 g and the bottle caps adhere to the canvases, can be positioned appropriately and moved if necessary.
For labeling, a magnetic tape Marking tape, width 15 mm, white, sold by the meter was cut into suitable pieces and labeled with printed labels.
