Attach the bike lock magnetically
I built a mount for my spiral lock on my bike using your block magnet 40.0 x 20.0 x 10.0 mm N42 nickel - holds 25 kg. I attached the magnets to the bike and the lock using the self-curing silicone rubber "Sugru". I used two 8g packs of Sugru for each magnet. Sugru is available in a wide variety of colors.
Installation is simple: apply the Sugru to the magnet and then press the magnet against the bicycle frame or lock so that the magnet is completely encased in the silicone rubber. Then let it cure for 24 hours. The strength of the magnets used is more than sufficient for this application.
However, you should use magnets of a similar strength to mine to prevent the lock from detaching from the frame due to vibrations while riding.
I also recommend using block magnets rather than disc magnets, as block magnets, due to their length, better withstand the leverage of the lock.
