Magnetic spice tray
Our Instagram partner "Handwerkstueck" has built a magnetic spice rack using our products.
Tools required for spice rack:
- Cordless screwdriver
- Sander
- Chisel, hammer
- Flat-head drill bit, masonry drill
- Folding ruler with pencil
- Spirit level
- Saw
Required materials:
- Wooden board
- Ring magnet Ø 20.0 x 4.5 x 4.0 mm N42 nickel with counterbore north
- Screws, dowels & Bracket
Steps for producing the spice rack:
First, the wooden board is cut to the desired size and the side facing the wall is hemmed.
Sand the board with a sander to achieve a nice, smooth surface.
Holes Measure and mark with a ruler and spirit level. On the wall, the markings are aligned using a spirit level.
Next, the drill bits are used with the cordless screwdriver to drill holes for:
- Flat holes for the magnets
- Mounting the board and
- Holes for the mounting screws on the wall
Cut out and create the elongated holes with the chisel.
In the next step, the magnets, the bracket, and the dowels are inserted into the respective holes and screwed in.

Attach the board to the screws in the wall.
Attach the metal spice jars to the magnets.
