Spinning top - Carousel
When a hobby becomes a passion, a unique display is created with the help of magnets and spinning tops.
Spinning Top Carousel
Dear Magnet Shop and Magnet Blog Team,
For several years now, I have been developing and manufacturing various types of toy spinning tops – in my retirement and out of passion.
I sometimes use your magnets for these, as they can create a wide variety of – and, in my opinion, quite impressive – effects.
With spinning tops, the saying goes, "Everything spins!"
And when your magnets come into play, it spins even a little more.

This is my "spinning carousel." It consists of two individual spinners, which – first set in motion and then connected by a wooden rod – in turn move the carousel. Thus, there are three rotational movements: two of the two and a third of the carousel. The crucial "secret" lies in the spinning top handles.
These are where your magnets are installed:
I used the magnet model "rod magnet Ø 2,0 x 4,0 mm N45 nickel - holds 280 g"
I used one magnet per spinning top. It's sunk into the top of the shaft, where it's set in motion.
The magnet is then attracted to one of the metal pins inserted into the crossbeams at the left and right ends.
Since spinning tops can be described, but their effect only becomes apparent when viewed, I'm sending you, in addition to photos of various versions of the spinning top carousel, a video that illustrates how the carousel is set in motion.
