Of course, there are no limits to your imagination, and with such a system you can secure all sorts of things you need to have readily available without having to rummage through bags, backpacks, or similar items.

Implementation is child's play. A 4.5 mm hole was drilled in each of two magnets. Several scenarios are conceivable for attaching the respective items.
Shown as examples: once via a small carabiner or alternatively via a split ring in combination with another carabiner. Should the magnets detach from the plastic holder, they can be irreversibly fixed with Epoxy two-component adhesive 24 ml transparent twin syringe.
