Magnets are used in boat slipways to reduce slipping when pulling boats out.
Slipway for boats
The magnets adhere well to the boat ramp, which is made of corrugated sheet metal. Additionally, the drilled magnets are placed over the existing screw heads. This prevents them from slipping under heavy load.
Since the boat ramp quickly becomes covered with algae and thus very slippery, the magnets are highly praised by all club members.
