How to create more order in your office with magnets

Organization is half the battle. Since the time in the office is also part of it, the same applies there. In a well-stocked and clearly arranged room, it is simply more pleasant and goal-oriented to work. With a few tips and tricks, you can use magnetism to bring more order into your everyday office life.

Arrange, plan and present on a magnetic board

In the office, a lot of paper, notes and office supplies accumulate over time. Who is supposed to keep track of all of that? Ideally, you should always ensure a certain basic order on your desk. Magnetic boards for the office, for example, can help you get a grip on clutter and better structure your workflow. Either install them permanently in the room or use them as mobile devices. The corresponding office magnets will then help you to remove all documents that you are not currently using from your desk and to attach them to the wall in a clear manner. The mountains of paper at your workplace disappear and you always know exactly where your notes are.

Another great advantage of magnets is that they hold your documents firmly to the wall and leave no residue after you take them off. A conventional pinboard that you stick pins in will eventually look like Swiss cheese and lose quality, just like your documents. In addition, a magnetic wall has a smooth surface in most cases. This is ideal for writing notes on it or providing it with drawings that you want to present to your colleagues. Here are four ways of how a magnetic board might look like in your office:

  • Magnetic whiteboards

As the name suggests, these boards are mostly coated with white paint. This makes it possible to write down thoughts in the form of notes and drawings and then remove them without leaving any residue. The white coating also means that the human eye can see the dark writing very well. Thanks to the magnetism, you can optimally combine and present written and, for example, printed image material.

  • Glass magnetic walls

Glass isn't magnetic, is it? Of course, a glass magnetic wall needs some help so that the office magnets really stick to it. The glass surface is usually not transparent, but often has a colored accent. This makes it possible to invisibly attach a plate made of a magnetic material behind it. This can be made of iron, nickel or cobalt, for example, and ultimately allows the magnets to stick to the disc. Strong magnets with a high adhesive force are important here. Neodymium designs, for example, have the ability to work through a sheet of glass. Magnetic boards for the office made of glass always look classy and appear modern. They are definitely a real eye-catcher.

  • Ferro foil

As an alternative to a magnetic pin board, you also have the option of using a self-adhesive ferrous foil. You can easily cut them to the desired shape and size and then stick them on the desired wall in your office. They are completely flexible and also transform surfaces that have no magnetic properties into magnetic walls.

  • Magnetic paint

Screwing, drilling and gluing are not for you? Then try painting. Magnetic paint is another strong adhesive surfaces for magnets. With its help, you can transform your office walls into magnetic organizational aids in no time at all. Prepare your wall by masking off the desired shape and size of the future magnet surface. Masking tape or silicone is suitable for this. Then you should stir the paint well so that it can be applied evenly to the wall. Now everthing is ready. Paint the area thoroughly and then allow the paint to dry for five to six hours. You should repeat the process at least two more times so that in the end everything covers perfectly and shows the desired effect.

Make your everyday work easier with office magnets

Do you often plan and present special processes on a magnetic board in your office? You probably often use the same symbols in your process chain. You can make this work a lot easier by having it printed on office magnets, magnetic tapes or a magnetic strip. In this way, you create practical building blocks for process planning. You also benefit from the advantage that you can easily move such magnets and use them again at any time.

Office supply magnets keep your desk organized

Do you like working with paperclips? Then you surely know this problem: Countless of the bent staples are scattered around your workplace and when you really need one, you won't find any. You can easily solve this office supply annoyance with the help of a magnet. All your staples are held by this and are always ready to hand in the same place. Paper clip magnets come in many different shapes and colors. Not only are they practical, they also enhance the look of your desk.
