Side-mounted magnetic fitting: the magnet is attached to the narrow side of the fitting
 
This screw-on magnetic fitting impresses with its robust construction and powder-coated metal housing. The black surface and compact 10 mm height allow for discreet installation in a wide variety of applications. A powerful neodymium magnet inside ensures reliable hold. The rubberized contact surface provides comfortable cushioning when closing and also protects against scratches. The magnetic fitting can be precisely secured using two screws through the two elongated holes.
 
The magnetic fitting is available in two versions: with a front or side-mounted magnetic surface. This allows you to choose the right option depending on your installation situation. A counterplate is already attached to the magnetic surface at the factory, which can be used if necessary. Installation is straightforward with two screws.

Safety Notice

NdFeB magnets are hard and brittle. Especially with thinner dimensions / higher adhesive forces, these can easily break or splinter! An uncontrolled impact of two magnets as well as an external, mechanical shock or pressure load should therefore be avoided!

Determination of the magnetic force

The adhesive force of our magnets is determined at room temperature on a polished plate made of steel S235JR (ST37) with a thickness of 10 mm by the vertical withdrawal of the magnet (1kg ~ 10 N). A different value down to -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. In general, the value is exceeded. Please note that for thinner, painted and not absolute plan undergrounds the adhesive force represents only one raction of the specified values.
