What exactly are magnetic discs?

Neodymium magnet discs impress with their practical disc shape. This means they can be flexibly fitted into the smallest openings and offer a wide contact surface.
Neodymium is particularly strong, so they can also hold heavy metal objects if necessary.
Most of our neodymium disc magnets have the magnetic poles on the two opposite circular surfaces (axial magnetization). Some are diametrically magnetized; this can be seen in the extra image in the product image.

What types of neodymium disc magnets are there?

Our neodymium disc magnets are available in various designs.
Our smallest models are barely larger than a grain of dust – 1 x 1 mm in diameter – and can hold up to 25 g.
The largest disc magnets are available in dimensions of 100 x 30 mm and can safely hold up to 300 kg. In between there is a wide range of different sizes and thicknesses to choose from.
Models are available in gold, epoxy or nickel.

Where are neodymium disc magnets used?

As already mentioned, there are a variety of applications for neodymium disc magnets.
The performance of the discs is used by both industrial companies and small businesses or private individuals. They are used, for example, in the following areas:

● exhibition and shop fitting
● as door locks
● when building loudspeakers
● when closing cell phone cases

The decisive factor here is primarily the size of the discs.
The largest super magnet models are primarily used to lift heavy loads.
The smaller neodymium magnet models, on the other hand, are well suited as simple house fastenings or fasteners that can be sewn into clothing, for example.
Sew-in magnets are a good replacement for zippers or button strips.

Caution: Neodymium magnets should be kept away from small children as they can swallow the discs.
In the worst-case scenario, this can cause life-threatening injuries. Therefore, handle them with care.

Conclusion: Why it is worth buying neodymium round magnets?

Neodymium disc magnets are characterized by their special shape. Because they are flat and round, they can be fitted into a wide variety of shapes, grooves, etc. – the disc magnets are also available with a hole or bore.
In contrast to ferrite magnets, they also have an extremely high adhesive force. This means that even small neodymium round magnets are very strong.
For example, a magnet with a diameter of 5 x 4 mm can hold 1 kilo of weight.
If you buy a neodymium disc magnet, you are purchasing an ideal permanent magnet.

Tip: Round, self-adhesive disc magnets made of neodymium are particularly practical. You can easily attach them to any surface without having to screw or nail them. They are ideal for all types of adhesive surfaces.
