How the ferrite pot magnets with steel pot work: A ferrite magnet is installed in a steel pot. This metal housing protects the ferrite magnet from damage
and increases the adhesive force. In order to achieve an optimal adhesive force, the pot magnet must rest directly on the metallic surface. A thin sheet of iron or paint can reduce the adhesive force very quickly. The adhesive force only acts on the open magnet side, since the steel pot shields the magnetic effect.
Special feature: The hook can be unscrewed, which means e.g. other objects with external threads can also be screwed in. Due to the white powder coating, these magnetic hooks can be used almost invisibly on white adhesive surfaces such as ceiling or shelves.
When using it, however, it must be ensured that the specified adhesive force can only be achieved when used vertically (e.g. on the ceiling). When used on a wall (horizontal trigger), the adhesive force of the hook magnet is less, or will tilt with a lighter weight. Of course, we also have stronger hook magnets with neodymium, but with a nickel-plated surface.
The holding magnets / assembly magnets / pot magnets are used particularly often in industry, trade fairs and assembly. The strong pot magnets are also indispensable in the advertising sector / display construction / lighting sector.
