Ferrite flat grippers / Pot magnets with threaded bushing
A ferrite gripper consists of a ferrite magnet embedded in a protective steel pot. This metal housing protects the pot magnet from damage and increases its holding power. To achieve optimal holding force, the magnet must rest directly on a metallic surface. If a thin iron sheet or a paint coating is placed between them, the holding force can be reduced very quickly. The magnetic force only acts on the open magnet side, as the steel pot shields the magnetic effect on the other side. What characterizes a ferrite flat gripper with a threaded bushing?
On the opposite side of the magnet, these ferrite flat grippers have a threaded bushing. Screws or other parts with external threads can be screwed into the internal thread of the bushing. The maximum operating temperature is 200 °C.
The ferrite pot magnets with threaded bushing are available in various diameters, dimensions and magnet strengths. These threaded pot magnets are made of hard ferrite, a robust magnetic material known for its durability and resilience. They offer a reliable fastening solution and are particularly widely used in industry.
Applications for ferrite flat grippers with threaded bushing
Ferrite pot magnets with threaded bushings have a lower holding force than neodymium flat grippers with threaded bushings, but they are more heat-resistant and can be used at higher temperatures. This property makes them particularly versatile and they are often used in these areas:
● Exhibition and assembly construction
● Advertising sector
● Display construction
● Lighting sector
Their versatility and robustness make them a popular choice for numerous fastening and holding applications.
Are ferrite pot magnets electrically conductive?
Ferrite is basically a ceramic magnetic material and therefore has very low electrical conductivity. This means that ferrite is considered non-conductive in most applications. This property makes threaded ferrite flat grippers particularly suitable for applications where electrical insulation is important.
Why should I buy a ferrite flat magnet with threaded bushing from magnet-shop.com?
