Neodymium eyelet magnets: mounting options with strong adhesive force
Magnets are an increasingly popular option for attaching objects because they are practical, suitable for temporary use and usually offer a quick solution. Neodymium eyelet magnets are perfect counterparts to carabiners and hooks and are a popular choice when it comes to ceiling attachment or tensioning ropes.

What is an eyelet magnet and how is it used?
An eyelet magnet is characterized by its special structure and the practical eyelet, which is ideal for fastening. Neodymium eyelet magnets also impress with a particularly strong adhesive force and a high operating temperature of up to 80 °C.
Structure of the neodymium eyelet magnets
In an eyelet magnet, the neodymium magnet is embedded in a steel shell, on the back of which an eyelet is screwed into the threaded bushing. The metal housing not only protects the magnet from damage, but also increases its adhesive force.
The eyelet means that the magnet can only be used on one side, because the steel pot shields the magnetic effect.
Tip: the pot should rest directly on the metal surface in order not to lose adhesive force.
Is pure neodymium magnetic?
Neodymium magnets are among the strongest permanent magnets in the world, which is why even small magnets develop a strong adhesive force. Pure neodymium, on the other hand, is paramagnetic. This means that the material magnetizes as soon as an external magnetic field is present. Without this field, it would have no magnetization.
Neodymium eyelet magnets and other neodymium magnets therefore always have a proven alloy of neodymium, iron and boron.
What can you use neodymium eyelet magnets for?
Eyelet magnets with neodymium are suitable for use in industry, in office buildings, as well as for private households. Always use them when you need a high holding force.
The following areas can benefit from the use of magnetic eyelets:
● exhibition and assembly construction
● advertising sector
● display construction
● lighting sector
● industry
Here are some examples of how you can use eyelet magnets on magnetic surfaces and substrates:
● when carabiners or hooks need a counterpart to grip onto
● for attaching objects to the ceiling
● for stretching ropes between magnetic surfaces or shelves (e.g. for curtains or screens)
● for temporary attachments to exhibition stands etc.
Sometimes, however, you need a neodymium hook magnet, a ferrite hook magnet or a holding or mounting magnet instead of a neodymium eyelet magnet. You can also find these in our range. You can also find these in our range.
Tip: When buying the magnetic eyelets, you should also pay attention to the inner diameter of the eyelet so that the carabiner, rope or chain can fit through. Please note our detailed product images and tables.
Why should you buy neodymium eyelet magnets from magnet-shop.com?
In our shop you will find strong neodymium eyelet magnets for different projects. Small eyelet magnets are available with a diameter of 10 mm and a holding force of 2 kg. Strong magnets with an eyelet can hold up to 340 kg with a diameter of 90 mm. In between you will find various sizes with stable eyelets, flexible steel cable or a movable key ring.
To be on the safe side, you should choose the diameter and holding force that suits your project and the given conditions. With us, you not only benefit from fast shipping, as we ship daily, but there is also no minimum order value or surcharge for small quantities.
