Specific magnet glue
Adhesive (glue) for magnets
If love is the glue of the soul, then our magnetic glue is definitely the right choice for all other matters! Our adhesives and adhesive dots are characterized by a high level of adhesive strength, easy application options and very long durability for a wide variety of purposes. Especially in combination with our non-adhesive products from the Magnets Shop, the different adhesives enter into a suitable symbiosis. Depending on the surface, we offer various options in our range to bring your desired product to the wall or the place of your choice.
We differentiate between 2-component adhesives and already mixed adhesives, which enjoy different advantages depending on the area of application. While one-component adhesives do not require separate premixing and thus exclude material losses, 2-component variants bond a larger spectrum of materials such as ceramics, stone, wood, plastics, concrete, metals and ferrite, i.e. ceramic materials made from the iron oxide hematite , less often consist of magnetite and other metal oxides. While the one-component adhesive only has to be opened and spread over the respective surface, the two-component adhesive is first mixed in a small container. Here too, handling and dosing are easy. If the glue already has a suitable mixing nozzle, the syringe-like device already takes over the amount of glue in the correct mixing ratio. Important: Your safety is important to us! Before use, note the safety instructions for the various adhesives for magnets and the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
How to use the adhesive correctly
In order to achieve the desired and long-lasting result, it is essential to clean the surface; it has to be free of grease. Detergent, for example, is a good choice. The surface should be clean and free of dust. Then open the adhesive for magnets or peel off the film on the back of the adhesive points, purchased in the magnet shop, then apply the adhesive to the product. With a two-component adhesive without a mixing nozzle, mix the two adhesives with a stick for about a minute and apply it to the destination as described above.
Universal adhesives versus specialty adhesives
While universal adhesives serve most surfaces, our high-performance instant adhesives offer you an alternative for areas that place special demands on the adhesive. These include porous materials such as cork, rubber or coarser wood. Metals with smooth surfaces are also a challenge that a specially developed adhesive can easily face. With our special adhesives, you give many complex structured materials the necessary adhesive force. Regardless of whether it is a universal or special adhesive: as soon as the product hangs at the relevant point, it should cure at room temperature for at least half an hour. After 24 hours, all glue is completely dry and then fully loadable.
