The welding angle magnet: The practical aid for joining ferromagnetic components
Anyone who regularly works with a welding machine knows the problem: parts need to be joined at a perfectly precise angle. Often, however, your hands aren't enough to simultaneously hold the components and weld.
With welding angle magnets for fixing, however, it's a breeze! The strong magnets allow you to position workpieces precisely and hold them permanently in the desired orientation.

What are magnetic welding angles used for?
Magnetic welding angles, along with welding clamps, are among the most popular fixing tools in steel processing plants.
They are used whenever soldering, welding, or assembly is required. They serve as welding aids, enabling the precise joining of different ferromagnetic metal parts. Marking and welding together become effortless. Furthermore, magnetic welding angles allow you to fix parts on-site during assembly.
With the right tools, which you can buy in our shop in various sizes and angles, you'll always have both hands free! Thanks to their magnetic properties, the welding angle magnets hold components in the correct position, while you can easily get the right tool from your welding accessory bag – or even better: from your practical magnetic bowls.
What types of welding angles are there?
Welding angle magnets are available in various sizes and designs. In our magnet shop, you can choose from several options:
- simple welding magnet angles for precise 90° angles
- combined models for 90° and 45° angles
- multi-adjustable versions for 135°, 90°, 75°, 60°, 45°, and 30° angles
Depending on the welding angle type, you can use different angle stops. Simply rotate the welding angle magnet to select the required angle. Their light weight makes these handy little helpers versatile and easy to use in the workshop.
We also carry models with integrated handles. These are particularly advantageous for overhead work or when working with two people. For such tasks, you can also benefit from our permanent lifting magnets.
Our range of magnetic welding angles includes not only classic permanent magnets but also switchable welding angles – versions with magnets that can be activated. These allow for even more precise joining of workpieces. Once the workpiece is in the correct position, you can activate the magnet. After successful welding, the angle magnet can then be deactivated and released using a switch. The various functions of the angles cover virtually all requirements in metal construction – from quick assembly to precise alignment.
Order the right welding angle magnets for your project in our online shop today and benefit from our low tiered pricing!
Which materials can be fixed using magnetic welding angles?
Depending on the holding force/magnetic strength and shape of the welding brackets, you can use them to hold a wide variety of materials in position. At magnet-shop you will find mounting brackets for the following materials:
- sheet metal
- plates
- profiles
- tubes
The combination of individual magnetic welding brackets also allows you to join different elements. This enables you to fully assemble entire workpieces before welding and check them for design flaws. The only requirement for using the brackets is that the materials in question possess ferromagnetic properties. Thanks to their reliable holding force, these welding aids are able to securely fix even heavier metal parts.
These industries use welding angles
We supply welding angles of tested and standardized industrial quality at fair prices. Our product range includes a wide selection of various magnetic angles with different load bearing and holding forces. They are used today in all metalworking workshops and industries. For example, magnetic welding angles are used in:
- Steelworks
- Heavy manufacturing machinery
- Welding shops
Even in the hobby sector, you can benefit from the power of our magnetic welding angles – with them you always have both hands free for welding work and thus save time and effort!
