Product information "Door magnet neodymium 2.7 kg - set with 2 magnets"
This magnetic solution is ideal for flush installation in pieces of furniture or doors.
For example, you can keep doors closed or fix an open door.
First drill the corresponding hole (opposite) with a Forstner or normal wood drill bit.
Then you press the magnet and the matching metal disk into the hole and screw them tight with the screws provided.
To prevent the closing noise (clacking), the supplied pads can be stuck on.
Available in 5 sizes with magnetic holding forces from 1 to 13 kg.
Each set includes a steel housing for a neodymium magnet, a strike plate, noise damper and mounting screws.

Safety Notice
NdFeB magnets are hard and brittle. Especially with thinner dimensions / higher adhesive forces, these can easily break or splinter! An uncontrolled impact of two magnets as well as an external, mechanical shock or pressure load should therefore be avoided!
Determination of the magnetic force
The adhesive force of our magnets is determined at room temperature on a polished plate made of steel S235JR (ST37) with a thickness of 10 mm by the vertical withdrawal of the magnet (1kg ~ 10 N). A different value down to -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. In general, the value is exceeded. Please note that for thinner, painted and not absolute plan undergrounds the adhesive force represents only one raction of the specified values.
