Product information "SmCo Deep pot magnet Ø 32 x 40 mm, brass, tolerance h6 - 61.2 kg"
Deep pot with built-in sandwich magnet system made of samarium cobalt (SmCo), brass housing and fit tolerance h6.
This deep pot magnet is available in 8 different dimensions, from 6 to 32 mm in diameter. This magnet can be attached by pressing, gluing or shrinking.
Dimensions / Tolerances | |
Diameter: | 32,0 mm h6 |
Length: | 40,0 mm +/- 0,3 mm |
The deep pot magnet can be shortened on the back by a length of 10 mm without reducing the adhesive force.
Please note that if the deep pot magnet is installed directly in iron, the adhesive force will be reduced by up to 15% due to magnetic short circuits. To avoid this, a distance of 1.5 mm must be maintained between the brass housing of the deep pot magnet and the iron.
The distance to the iron must also be maintained if the deep pot magnet has been shortened by a length of 10 mm.

Determination of the magnetic force
The adhesive force of our magnets is determined at room temperature on a polished plate made of steel S235JR (ST37) with a thickness of 10 mm by the vertical withdrawal of the magnet (1kg ~ 10 N). A different value down to -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. In general, the value is exceeded. Please note that for thinner, painted and not absolute plan undergrounds the adhesive force represents only one raction of the specified values.
