Blockmagnet 80.0 x 20.0 x 4.0 mm N35 nickel with 2 countersunk holes

Product information "Blockmagnet 80.0 x 20.0 x 4.0 mm N35 nickel with 2 countersunk holes"

Blockmagnet made of neodymium with two 4.5 mm countersunk holes and nickel coating. This flat magnet (height 4 mm) can be screwed onto components or non-magnetic surfaces with two countersunk screws.
You can use several types of screw, such as slotted screw with countersunk head for wood, machine screw, countersunk screw with Torx or hexagon socket. The top diameter for the screw head is: 9.46 mm.
The North Pole is on the side with the subsidence. For this reason, using two of these magnets in pairs is not possible (repulsion).
So that the neodymium magnets do not break or splinter, simply sink the magnets into the workpiece and protect the raw magnet from direct hits. Our round neodymium pot magnet with hole and countersunk are protected from impact by a steel pot.

Note: If too much force is applied, neodymium magnets can break. We recommend a maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm when screwing on this magnet.

Safety Notice

NdFeB magnets are hard and brittle. Especially with thinner dimensions / higher adhesive forces, these can easily break or splinter! An uncontrolled impact of two magnets as well as an external, mechanical shock or pressure load should therefore be avoided!

Determination of the magnetic force

The adhesive force of our magnets is determined at room temperature on a polished plate made of steel S235JR (ST37) with a thickness of 10 mm by the vertical withdrawal of the magnet (1kg ~ 10 N). A different value down to -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. In general, the value is exceeded. Please note that for thinner, painted and not absolute plan undergrounds the adhesive force represents only one raction of the specified values.
